Areas of expertise
I have broad, interdisciplinary interests, including how habits may underpin maintenance of behaviour, including physical activity. I currently lead a large externally funded project which aims to produce lasting modal shift from private car to ebikes. Many previous projects have been culturally-located: research with ethnic minorities or in low and middle income countries. I have a particular interest in research methods and open science.
Previously, I would also have worked quite a bit around the social aspects of medicine use and adherence, as well as some work on recreational drug use. Also a background in sociolinguistics! And a number of publications on the psychology of wine tasting
Statistical expertise: Count regression (negative binomial, zero inflation, poisson); questionnaire/survey data
