Major expertise in cancer cell biology, endocytosis and drug delivery. The laboratory focuses on studying the fundamentals of endocytosis with a view to exploit in this process to deliver therapeutic molecules to the inside of cells. Drug delivery vectors under scrutiny include nano medicines, antibodies and potatoes. I also have a significant interest in the public engagement with science. Over the past 16 years I have set up numerous science exhibitions including through the medium of Welsh at the National Eisteddfod of Wales. I am also a regular contributor to Welsh Medoum TV and radio discussing science
