My work spans both psychology and behavioural ecology, particularly focusing on how humans and other animals perceive the world and how they use this information to make decisions. I have particular expertise in camouflage, visual search, visual foraging and avian brood parasitism. I am also interested in statistics and methods within psychology, and am familiar with multi-level modelling, Bayesian statistics and machine learning.
