Areas of expertise
I hold a PhD in Epidemiology and completed a post-doc in Cardiovascular Epidemiology. The majority of my work has focused on the associations of physical activity with the built environment and health. I also have training in Biostatistics and Health Behavior, and have conducted some work in Environmental Health (focused on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). Currently I work at the Center for Methods in Implementation and Preventive Science, which is housed in the Department of Biostatistics at Yale University.
I have statistical expertise in quantitative methods such as various regression techniques, validation, quantitative bias analyses, etc. I have worked on cross-sectional, case-control, cohort, and intervention studies, and have experience working with nationally representative data (e.g., NHANES).
