PhD in Psychology (School of Natural Sciences, University of Stirling, UK, 2014) MSc in Evolutionary Psychology (School of Biological Sciences, University of Liverpool, UK, 2009) BA in Music Pedagogy (Faculty of Arts, Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, Colombia, 2006). I am an Associate Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Psychology, Universidad El Bosque in Bogota, Colombia, and leader of the CODEC: Cognitive and Behavioural Sciences research group. My research interests mostly lie in mate choice, human vocal communication, and musicality, as well as bioaoustics, psychoacoustics, and hormonal effects on human behaviour. Additionally, I am passionate about quantitative methods and R programming, to promote reproducibility and open science.
